CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO MOUSSE PIE

This is a variation of probably the first dessert I ever made- way back in the early 80’s. I changed it up a little- using the espresso flavored chocolate chips and creme de cacao for a little more Umph and that WOW factor. I had originally planned on making Chocolate curls for decoration (because that is how I always made it previously) but thought I would experiment with trying to make some Chocolate Shards out of semi-sweet chocolate and white chocolate to add a little more Chocolate goodness to this already unbelievably incredible dessert. This is a perfect make ahead dessert as it needs time to chill and set up. I make it the day before; then decorate before serving… This really is so special- I’m so glad I found it again!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. You will definitely want to lick the mousse filling bowl!
