This pie is a great side dish for a steak or beef dinner. Recently, I hosted a birthday party for my Mom and I had planned on making some individual quiches with mushrooms. Usually, I always prepare so many recipes and menu items for gatherings and parties that I can’t possibly prepare all of them. I just like to have some options available in case I decide to add a dish. The individual quiches were last on my list of what to prepare and I just didn’t get around to making them. (I ran out of time!). So….I ended up with a bunch of mushrooms and needed to make something with them.
My love of pies, always makes me think about pie first. Savory or Sweet. So many options! I made this delicious Mushroom Pie to accompany our roast beef dinner and it was delicious!!!!! I made the Spinach Crust, but it would taste wonderful with any crust you decide to make for this filling.
